MEGA| BIZFEST is an annual business conference for policy-makers, corporations, governments, business leaders and small businesses to gather and explore strategies for improving prospects for women-, veteran-,
and minority-owned businesses. It is the largest business event hosted by the City of Wilmington for small, women and minority businesses. "Mega BizFest demonstrates the City of Wilmington's commitment to small businesses," said Wilmington Mayor James M. Baker. "We want all business owners to be part of a new Wilmington that is emerging from the old, where growth and
prosperity is available to all, and where everyone is given the opportunity and direction to succeed." Through a series of innovative events, Mega BizFest nurtures the development of strategic alliances while providing access to the crucial resources and capital needed for small businesses to succeed in today's multi-cultural economy. The golf outings serves to help small business become acclomade to the "Mental Game of Corporate Golf" as an extension of the Boardroom where linking deals and relationships are established. The Pro Golf Clinic also helps to strengthen the skillsets and understanding of the game of golf as a business strategy and networking tool.
