Recognizing Outstanding DBE and Minority Businesses
This year, the City of Wilmington will host the 5th Annual Statewide Thomas J. Moyer Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Awards Program. This awards program was named in honor of Mr. Moyer's 15 years of outstanding service as the Director of the Minority and Small Business Enterprise Office for the City of Wilmington. Mr. Moyer's distinguished work helped establish the City of Wilmington as a major contributor in providing opportunities for small, minority, and women-owned businesses. The City of Wilmington Small Minority, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Office (SMDBE) in collaboration with the State of Delaware Office of Minority and Women Owned Business, New Castle County and the Delaware Department of Transportation are currently soliciting nominations for:
Outstanding Corporation of the Year

DBE of the Year

Prime Contractor of the Year

Pioneer in Disadvantaged Business Development

An afternoon of powerful messages regarding the state of women & minority businesses. special recognition and awards to DBE businesses for outstanding achievement. Hear a dynamic keynote speaker, address issues facing small and minority businesses.

An afternoon of special recognition and awards to DBE businesses for outstanding achievement.
Join us as we join in with the SBA, Delaware District Office and present the SBA Delaware Minority Small Business Person of the Year.
